Manchester United Signs Young Talent David Eze from Manchester City
Manchester United has officially confirmed the signing of David Eze, a promising English-Nigerian midfielder, from Manchester City. Eze, 16, has joined the Red Devils Academy and is expected to make an impact in the club’s youth development program.
The English Football Association reported that Eze’s transfer was finalized when Manchester United was listed as his club in the squad announcement for England’s youth teams. He has signed a scholarship agreement with the club and will be eligible to sign his first professional contract in March 2027, upon turning 17.
Eze spent eight years in Manchester City’s academy and has represented England at the Under-15 and Under-16 levels. His skills in central midfield have drawn attention, making him a significant addition to United’s youth setup.
In a separate announcement, Manchester United also revealed that German-Nigerian forward Noah Ajayi has committed to the club by signing a long-term professional contract. Ajayi, 17, competes for Germany at the Under-19 international level and made his competitive debut in the UEFA Youth League this season.
The Hamburg native was a key player for Manchester United in the previous season’s FA Youth Cup, contributing two goals in five appearances as the team advanced to the final.
