EPL: Carragher predicts winners of Chelsea vs Tottenham, Man United vs Bournemouth, Arsenal, Liverpool, others
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has predicted that Bournemouth will secure a victory over Manchester United in their upcoming Premier League match. Carragher anticipates a 2-0 defeat for United at Old Trafford as they continue to struggle this season.
In addition, Carragher forecasts that Chelsea will emerge victorious against Tottenham, also by a score of 2-0. This prediction comes after Manchester United’s recent challenge, which saw them suffer a 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League, extending their winless streak to seven matches in all competitions.
Following the loss, manager Michael Carrick apologized to the traveling supporters, calling the performance “unacceptable.” Manchester United currently sits in 13th place in the Premier League, with just one win from seven matches this season.
Carragher expressed his belief that Manchester United’s difficult run of form will continue this Sunday. He also shared insights on other Premier League fixtures, including Arsenal’s matchup against Everton and Liverpool’s encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion.
“This weekend offers an excellent selection of fixtures in the Premier League,” Carragher said. He believes Arsenal will have an easy time defeating Everton, citing their strong performance this season. However, he noted that Brighton may face tougher competition at Anfield against Liverpool, predicting a halt in Liverpool’s winning streak.
Manchester City currently leads the Premier League table by three points over Arsenal and will face Aston Villa in the early match on Saturday.
