Transfer: Maja returns to France with Le Havre move
Nigerian striker Josh Maja has completed a permanent transfer to French club Le Havre AC, according to reports.
Maja joined Le Havre on a free transfer after declining a contract renewal from West Bromwich Albion, a club in the Sky Bet Championship.
The 27-year-old has signed a one-year deal with an option for an additional year. He will don the number 9 jersey at Stade Océane.
Maja is familiar to French football fans, having played for Girondins Bordeaux from January 2019 to June 2023, where he netted 25 goals in 85 league appearances.
