Trabzonspor, a prominent club in Turkey’s Super Lig, has announced that discussions have commenced to secure the services of free agent Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian international has been without a club since concluding his tenure at Liverpool at the end of the previous season.
In a brief statement, Trabzonspor confirmed, “Negotiations have begun regarding the transfer of professional footballer Mohamed Salah to our club.”
Salah was initially rumored to be in talks with another Turkish club, Beşiktaş; however, his agent has since refuted these claims.
