Transfer: Serie A club seal agreement for Inter Milan’s Akinsamiro
Inter Milan has agreed to transfer midfielder Akinsamiro, reportedly receiving €7.5 million along with a 10 percent sell-on clause for any future transfer. The deal does not include a buy-back option, as the club departs from its youth academy product.
Several clubs expressed interest in Akinsamiro this summer, including Bologna, Werder Bremen, and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The 21-year-old joined Inter Milan from Remo Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League in January 2023. He made one league appearance during the 2023/24 season, contributing to Inter’s Serie A title win.
Last season, Akinsamiro spent time on loan at Sampdoria, where he scored one goal in 35 league appearances. He continued his development while on loan to Pisa, registering one assist in 25 league appearances.
