Transfer: Venezia director confirms Adams deal at advanced stage

Venezia Nears Agreement for Sevilla Striker Akor Adams
Venezia Director Filippo Antonelli confirmed on Sunday that negotiations for Sevilla striker Akor Adams are in advanced stages. The developments were reported by the DAILY POST and later corroborated by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano indicated that both clubs have tentatively agreed on a transfer fee of €16 million for the Nigerian international. However, Antonelli stated that a few details must still be finalized before the transfer is officially completed.
“I promise to provide full disclosure once everything is finalized,” Antonelli told reporters. “The talks are at a very advanced stage, but there are still some final details to work out.”
Adams joined Sevilla from French club Montpellier in January 2025, with the transfer valued at €5.5 million. Last season, the 26-year-old became the top scorer for Sevilla, netting 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 league appearances.
