Veteran Juju singer Saint Janet buried in Abeokuta [VIDEO]

Veteran Nigerian Juju singer Iyun Janet Ajilore, known professionally as Saint Janet, has been laid to rest in her hometown of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Her burial took place on Wednesday following a series of memorial events attended by family members, friends, and colleagues from the music industry. Emotional scenes were captured as children and other mourners gathered around her remains during the ceremony.

Prior to her burial, a candlelight service, Artists’ Night, and Christian wake were held on Tuesday at the AIT/Faaji FM compound in Kola Alagbado, Lagos.

Saint Janet passed away on August 1, 2026, after a brief undisclosed illness, according to reports.
