Cameroon Midfielder Vows Effort in WAFCON Quarter-Final Against Nigeria
Casablanca, Morocco — Cameroon midfielder Naomi Eto has stated that the Indomitable Lionesses will give their utmost in their upcoming quarter-final match against Nigeria’s Super Falcons at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium on Sunday.
The Super Falcons, who are the reigning champions, have historically dominated their matches against Cameroon in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and enter the match as favorites.
Despite this, Eto expressed confidence, emphasizing that the team’s commitment will be paramount. “Nigeria has great qualities, but a match is played on the pitch. One thing is certain – we will give everything on the pitch,” Eto said, according to CAFonline.
The victor of the clash will advance to face either Morocco or South Africa in the semi-finals.
