Young John rejects collaboration request from Blaqbonez over old tweet
Producer-turned-singer Young Jonn has declined a collaboration request from rapper Blaqbonez after resurfacing a tweet from 2015 in which Blaqbonez expressed a preference for another producer, DJ Coublon.
In the tweet, Blaqbonez stated that he preferred DJ Coublon over Young Jonn. The recent interaction occurred when Blaqbonez responded to Young Jonn’s post, in which he expressed a desire to have a group of five artists to work with.
Young Jonn had posted, “I need like 5 bad friends way we go dey move in bulk!” In response, Blaqbonez suggested, “Oya, make we dey together, sing as one.”
However, after sharing a screenshot of Blaqbonez’s old tweet favoring DJ Coublon, Young Jonn replied, “Go sing as one with Coublon.”
Blaqbonez later addressed the situation, stating that the tweet was made by a social media handler in 2015 and did not represent his current sentiments.
