11 killed, 12 injured in Kebbi road crash

Fatal Accident Claims 11 Lives in Kebbi State
At least 11 people have died, and 12 others have sustained injuries in a serious road accident on the Dakingari–Kamba road in Kebbi State.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on April 27, near a location known as Bakin Dutse, according to security sources.
The crash involved a Mitsubishi Canter vehicle operated by Sanusi Aliyu, a driver from Kamba, and a trailer, which remains unidentified. Reports indicate that the Canter was transporting goods and passengers from the Aljannare market when it swerved to avoid a pothole, resulting in some passengers being ejected from the vehicle.
As the trailer approached from the opposite direction, it ran over the individuals who had fallen. Among the fatalities was 25-year-old Nura Nuhu from Sokoto State, along with 10 others who died at the scene.
The injured, including 45-year-old Aliyu Suleman, were transported to the General Hospital in Kamba for medical treatment. The deceased have been taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
