Why it’s difficult for me to commit to one woman – Blaqbonez

Nigerian Rapper Blaqbonez Discusses Challenges of Love in Celebrity Life

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has expressed the view that “regular people” are more likely to find authentic love and sustain healthy relationships compared to celebrities.

In a recent appearance on the Ada’s Room podcast, Blaqbonez noted that everyday individuals typically have more stable routines, which allow them to invest time in their partners. In contrast, he argued that the unpredictable schedules of celebrities can hinder their ability to nurture personal relationships.

The rapper shared his own struggles with commitment, attributing them to his lifestyle as an artist. “In a relationship, I care about my partner, but not in a fairytale way,” he said, adding that he believes the concept of fairytale love is unrealistic. “If I were an everyday person who didn’t have to communicate with so many people, it would be easier to dedicate myself to one woman,” he said.

According to Blaqbonez, the regularity of daily life for most people enables them to cultivate relationships with minimal disruption. “You just go to work and return home, creating a routine where only one or two people might shift that routine throughout the year,” he explained.

He emphasized that for artists, meeting potential partners by chance is rare, as most individuals who approach them may have ulterior motives. “It is really difficult to find a genuine relationship,” he stated. “As an artist, everyone you meet has engineered their presence. You should just be able to live and meet random people.”

Blaqbonez’s insights reflect the complexities of maintaining relationships in a public and dynamic environment, highlighting the unique challenges faced by those in the entertainment industry.
