NIGERIA—Olakunle Churchill, the former husband of actress Tonto Dikeh, has responded to ongoing speculation regarding his marriage to Rosy Meurer.
Rumors of a potential divorce emerged after reports indicated that Meurer filed for separation on April 20, 2026. This speculation followed Churchill’s recent interactions with Dikeh, which became public after their son, King Andre, celebrated his 10th birthday three months ago.
In a statement shared via his Instagram story on Friday, Churchill emphasized his role as a father, stating, “As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids. Period.”
These rumors first came to light shortly after Churchill and Dikeh confirmed their reconciliation in January 2026, nearly nine years following their contentious divorce. During that announcement, Churchill clarified that the nature of their reunion was strictly for co-parenting, rather than rekindling their romantic relationship. The two have since appeared together in various photographs and videos.
Meurer, who was previously associated with Churchill and Dikeh, has faced allegations of having disrupted their marriage. Churchill and Meurer were married in 2019, just two years after his separation from Dikeh.
