Portable’s wealth doesn’t reflect on him – Speed Darlington

Nigerian Rapper Critiques Peer’s Wealth During Livestream

Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington recently criticized fellow artist Portable, questioning the authenticity of his claimed wealth. The remarks came during a livestream with host Peller, where Speed Darlington addressed his decision not to upload music to the streaming platform Audiomack.

When encouraged to follow Portable’s lead by sharing his music online, Speed Darlington declined, asserting that he sees little financial benefit from such platforms. “I can’t see any proof of money on Portable,” he stated, emphasizing his preference for listeners to pay for his music directly.

This exchange follows Portable’s recent appeal to industry colleagues, including music executive Don Jazzy, seeking help with digital marketing. Portable expressed frustration over his limited earnings from streaming, despite claiming that his music is popular among fans worldwide.
