The arrests were supported by the commandant of the Osun State Security Network Agency, commonly known as Amotekun.

Further developments led to the arrest of Hammed Olalekan Dauda, who is also known as Jagaban, and was reportedly found with a cut-to-size firearm. The police commissioner stated that Dauda allegedly confessed during questioning that Alowonle provided him with the weapon.

Additionally, Waliu Adejare, known as Jay Jay, was arrested as Alowonle’s personal assistant and is also linked to the case. Zungura explained that the suspects were allegedly mobilized by Alowonle and Ojo.
