Cubana Chief Priest Announces Bid for House of Representatives

Imo State—Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially announced his candidacy for a seat in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Okechukwu shared his intention in a video posted online following a visit to the APC secretariat in Imo State. He aims to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections.

In his video, Okechukwu conveyed his desire to party officials, stating, “I came to congratulate and encourage our party leaders and also to share my humble desire to represent my people at the House of Representatives. God is in control; let His will be done.” He noted that APC leaders expressed their support for his ambition during the meeting.

A party leader commended Okechukwu’s multifaceted skills, stating, “I don’t know if you’re a motivational speaker, businessman, or politician; you fit into all,” and assured him of the party’s backing.

Cubana Chief Priest has been a vocal supporter of the ruling party and the current administration. He was recently appointed as the Imo Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth organization that advocates for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
