Nigerian actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe Adedimeji, have welcomed triplets, the couple announced on May 1, 2026.
Lateef took to Instagram to share the news, expressing gratitude for the blessing of their new family members. In the video, he addressed his recent absence, explaining it was due to the anticipation of their children’s arrival.

“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life,” Lateef stated. “God gave me more than I prayed for, a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own. My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah!”
The announcement garnered a flood of congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues, and fans on social media.
Lateef and Adebimpe, who also work in the film industry, were married on December 18, 2021. Adebimpe is from Ijero-Ekiti in Ekiti State, while Lateef hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State.
