Security Forces Arrest Two Suspected Impersonators in Kaduna
JEMA’A, Kaduna State — Security operatives apprehended two men on May 1 who are suspected of impersonating military personnel in the Jema’a Local Government Area.
The arrests occurred around 8:30 p.m. along Bauchi Street in Kafanchan town, during a routine patrol by troops from Sector 7 of Operation Safe Haven. The information was confirmed by sources familiar with the operation.
Authorities noted that the individuals were dressed in military camouflage, which prompted the initial suspicion from the patrolling officers. Preliminary investigations indicate that the uniforms may belong to an active-duty soldier.
The suspects are currently in custody as investigators work to ascertain their identities, intentions, and any potential connections to criminal activities.
