VeryDarkMan: How I was given VIP treatment in Kuje prison — Blord

Nigerian Social Media Influencer Describes Experience in Kuje Correctional Centre
Nigerian social media personality Linus Williams, known as Blord, has provided insight into his recent stay at the Kuje Correctional Centre. In an interview shared online, he characterized parts of the facility as comfortable and well-organized.
Blord, who recently engaged in a public dispute with fellow influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, detailed the privileges he received during his time at the correctional facility. He drew a comparison between the environment of Kuje and specialized areas of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp.
“There are VIP sections within the correctional centre where high-profile individuals are kept,” Blord stated. “Kuje looks like an NYSC camp. Inside the camp, they have VIP sections, and that was where I was kept.”
He went on to describe the amenities available in his section, claiming it included various home appliances and facilities. “It was like a vacation. I sleep, wake up, and eat. I even had a chef,” he said.
Blord noted that his experience differed markedly from that of Verydarkman, suggesting that the inmate reception he received was notably warm. He recounted instances of camaraderie, stating, “We played football and they organized games for me.”
His comments about Kuje Correctional Centre have sparked discussions on social media, as they contrast sharply with the experiences of many inmates in correctional facilities across Nigeria.
