U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos land in Abidjan for Guinea showdown

Nigeria’s Flamingos have arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in preparation for their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Guinea.
The team traveled via Asky Airlines, departing from Lagos with a stop in Lomé, Togo, before landing at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Abidjan. Upon arrival, the players and coaching staff were accommodated at Seen Hotel.
Guinea will host the first leg of the qualification round at their temporary home ground in Abidjan on Saturday. The two teams will meet again in the return fixture at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne the following Saturday.
The overall winners of this two-legged tie will qualify for the main tournament in Morocco later this year.
