LaLiga: You’ve not changed anything at Real Madrid – Rothen slams Mourinho
Former Paris Saint-Germain winger Jerome Rothen criticized Real Madrid manager José Mourinho following the team’s recent 2-1 loss to Atlético Madrid in LaLiga.
Rothen expressed disappointment over Mourinho’s lack of impact since his appointment in June, suggesting that the manager has not made significant changes to the squad. “Mourinho didn’t change a thing at Real. If he can’t even get into the heads of his players for a derby,” he said in comments reported by Rothen s’enflamme.
He further noted the disparity in effort between the two teams, emphasizing that Atlético players appeared to be highly motivated: “There was nothing from Real’s side! Did Mourinho just come for the paycheck?”
Since taking over from Álvaro Arbeloa, Mourinho’s team currently holds the fourth position in the LaLiga standings, accumulating 15 points after seven matches.
