AFCON 2027Q: Usor ready to grab Super Eagles chance

Moses Usor is poised to make an impactful debut with the Super Eagles following his selection for the national team. The striker from LASK in Austria is one of three newcomers named to the squad for Nigeria’s qualifying matches for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.

The other two players joining Usor in the call-up are forward George Ilhenikena and defender Isaac James.

Usor expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s success. “I hold tremendous respect for each of them. My objective is to contribute my distinctive strengths, my pace and incisive play, while supporting the team’s objectives,” he told Footy-Africa.
