Benue govt postpones 50th anniversary, third year celebration activities

Benue State Postpones Anniversary Celebrations
The Benue State Government has announced the postponement of events planned to commemorate the state’s 50th anniversary and the third anniversary of Governor Hyacinth Alia’s administration.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Wednesday by Deputy Governor Barr. Dr. Sam Ode.
The government stated that the postponement is intended to facilitate further adjustments and consultations, ensuring a more successful and inclusive celebration. A new date for the events will be communicated in the near future.
Officials expressed regret for any inconvenience that the delay may cause to individuals, groups, and organizations preparing for the celebrations.
The government thanked the people of Benue State for their understanding and continued support during this time.
