Bandits kill boy, injure worshippers in Kaduna mosque attack

A boy was killed and several worshippers were injured during an attack at a mosque in the Namama community of Giwa Local Government Area in Kaduna State. The incident occurred during Maghrib prayers amid heavy rainfall, according to a post shared on social media by security analyst Bakatsine.
Witnesses reported that armed assailants entered the mosque and opened fire on the worshippers. The attack resulted in the death of a young boy, identified as Adamu, while other attendees were injured and subsequently taken for medical care.
Bakatsine noted that prayers are ongoing for the recovery of those affected. He expressed concern over the ongoing violence in places of worship, questioning the efficacy of protective measures for vulnerable communities.
