ABUJA — Plateau United’s technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, celebrated his team’s recent success in the President Federation Cup after a 2-1 win against Basira FC on Saturday at the FIFA Goal Project.
Ogunbote acknowledged the competitive spirit of the Nigeria National League (NNL) side, noting their strong performance during the match.
“It’s indeed a sweet victory as playing against an NNL side is always tough, and they gave a good account of themselves,” Ogunbote said in a statement to the club’s media.
