Amobi Ezeaku has resigned from his position as Secretary of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Club Owners Association. He announced his decision on Monday in a formal statement.

Ezeaku, who has held the role for several years, expressed that it was a significant honor and privilege to serve in this capacity. He noted that working alongside club owners and administrators dedicated to advancing professional football in Nigeria was a valuable experience.

In his statement, Ezeaku emphasized that his resignation does not reflect a withdrawal from his commitment to the sport in Nigeria.

Under Ezeaku’s leadership, Rangers FC secured a record-equalling ninth NPFL title at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, a milestone matched by Enyimba FC.
