AC Milan Appoints Ruben Amorim as New Manager

AC Milan announced Tuesday the appointment of Ruben Amorim as the club’s new manager. Amorim, who had been without a position since his dismissal from Manchester United in January, succeeds Max Allegri at the San Siro.

Following the announcement, Amorim shared his enthusiasm for leading the iconic Serie A team. “There are ambitions that accompany you throughout your career and, for me, coaching Milan has always been one of them,” he stated.

Amorim acknowledged the significance of the club, noting its rich history and dedicated global fan base. “I know perfectly well what AC Milan represents: history, prestige, and extraordinary fans all over the world,” he said. “It is a challenge that I face with pride and enthusiasm, with full awareness of what these colors mean.”
