Peter Obi Pledges Commitment to Nigeria Ahead of 2027 Elections
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections, stated his unwavering dedication to the country during an interview with Nevon Media on Tuesday.
Obi emphasized the necessity for decisive leadership in addressing Nigeria’s security issues. “One person must be in charge. We declare war. If you’re ready to live, you must be ready to die. If you’re not ready to die, go home,” he asserted.
He also expressed his strong connection to Nigeria, asserting he has no plans to acquire a passport from any other nation. “I’m ready to die for Nigeria. It’s one country. We cannot have non-state actors take over the state,” Obi added.
Obi’s remarks reflect his commitment to national unity and security as he prepares for the electoral race.
