Three Nations Eliminated from FIFA World Cup
At least three countries have been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament. Tunisia, Haiti, and Turkey are no longer in contention as the tournament progresses.
Tunisia became the latest team to be mathematically eliminated following a 4-0 defeat to Japan at Estadio Monterrey in Guadalupe earlier today. This loss left Tunisia with zero points after two matches in Group F, confirming that they cannot advance to the Round of 32.
Before today’s match, Tunisia, also known as the Carthage Eagles, suffered a significant defeat to Sweden, losing 5-1. With their elimination, Tunisia joins Haiti and Turkey in departing from the tournament.
Tunisia is set to face the Netherlands in their final Group F match in the coming days.
