AWKA — Chief Chukwudi Oli, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Dunukofia/Njikoka/Anaocha Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2027 general elections, has received a significant boost with endorsements from members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and other political groups.

This endorsement was made public during a consultative meeting between the coalition of political party members and the APGA campaign organization in Abagana, located in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Key attendees at the meeting included Hon. George Ozor, the Director-General of the campaign organization and former Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area; Chief Chukwudi Oli; Chief Onyenechi Ezeaso, APGA Chairman in Njikoka LGA; retired Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi; Chief Chibuzo Oli; Chief Ogochukwu Egolum; and other notable party stakeholders.

Ozo Ejiamatu, the leader of the endorsing group, stated that their decision to support Oli stemmed from his commitment to the development of communities throughout the constituency. He emphasized that despite their differing party affiliations, the group was united in their belief that Oli would provide effective representation.

“Our support for you is ultimately support for ourselves,” Ejiamatu said. “We trust that you will work towards the progress of the Dunukofia/Njikoka/Anaocha Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.”

The group expressed its determination to protect the constituency from what it termed “selfish politicians,” alleging that past representation has been inadequate.

Importantly, the stakeholders clarified that their endorsement was specific to Oli’s candidacy and did not extend to other APGA candidates.

In his remarks, Oli expressed gratitude for the group’s confidence in him and promised to uphold their expectations if elected. He outlined his political philosophy, emphasizing accountability, transparency, unity, and service to constituents, assuring them that their welfare would always come before personal interests.

Oli also highlighted the influence of his mentor, businessman and philanthropist Prince Arthur Eze, and pledged to use his office to foster development within the constituency.

In support of the endorsement, Hon. George Ozor and APGA Chairman in Njikoka LGA, Hon. Chinedu Anakwe, commended the coalition of parties for their support. Ozor deemed the endorsement a critical morale booster for Oli’s campaign, expressing confidence it would enhance APGA’s prospects in what he anticipates will be a highly competitive election for the House of Representatives in Anambra State.
