Gbajabiamila: I’m ready to face court of law to clear my name – Adeyemi

Adeyemi to Defend Allegations in Court

The Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Adeniyi Adeyemi, has announced his intention to defend himself in court regarding recent allegations involving the presidential council.

During an interview on the Channels Television program “Politics Today” on Thursday, Adeyemi addressed the controversy surrounding his claims that Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, received 400 million Naira through a proxy. He also asserted that Gbajabiamila solicited an additional 200 million Naira to secure his appointment.

On Wednesday, the presidency rejected Adeyemi’s allegations, stating that Gbajabiamila does not have the authority to write letters or grant appointments.

In his interview, Adeyemi emphasized, “If I’m wrong, let the court of law do the right thing, and if I’m right, let the court of law do the right thing.” He expressed his readiness to clear his name and called for a competent court to address the matter.

As the case progresses in the judicial system, both sides will await a legal resolution to the allegations.
