Kogi United Announces End-of-Season Break for Players and Staff
KOGI, Nigeria – Kogi United has confirmed an end-of-season break for its players and officials following a management meeting held in Lokoja.
The club’s statement indicated that while players are encouraged to take time off, they may be recalled from the break at any moment. This period is intended to provide the team with an opportunity to rest, recover, and reflect on the challenges of the recently concluded season.
Despite efforts this season, Kogi United fell short of gaining promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL). Meanwhile, Mighty Jets Feeders, Junior Danburam FC, DMD FC, and Neurospark secured promotions to the NNL from the Northern Nigeria National League (NLO) playoffs.
