WAFU B U-20: Flying Eagles aim to seal Group B top spot against Burkina Faso

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria, defending champions of the WAFU B U-20 Championship, are set to face Burkina Faso in their final group match on Sunday. With two victories already secured, Nigeria aims to finish at the top of Group B.

Under the leadership of coach Abdu Maikaba, the Flying Eagles began their tournament with a significant 4-2 win over Ghana’s Black Satellites. They followed that performance with a decisive 3-0 victory against Togo’s Sparrow Hawks.

Burkina Faso enters the match having garnered one win and one draw in their opening games against Togo and Ghana. Currently, Nigeria sits at six points from two matches and requires only a draw against Burkina Faso to clinch the group’s top position.
