Nigerian Streamer Claims TikTok Wedding Was Staged for Content
Nigerian content creator Carter Efe has asserted that the much-publicized wedding of TikTok personalities Peller and Jarvis was staged primarily for content creation rather than being an authentic matrimonial event. Efe made these claims during a livestream, reacting to various social media discussions surrounding the ceremony.
Efe suggested he was deliberately excluded from the festivities, stating, “They do content, they say na wedding… No be real marriage. Na why dem no invite me.” He maintained that the event was designed for online engagement rather than to celebrate a traditional union.
The conversation then transitioned to speculation about potential future announcements involving the couple, including the possibility of a pregnancy. One co-host suggested that such an announcement might also serve as part of their content strategy, saying, “In the next nine months, we go start to dey hear say Jarvis don get belle. So, that one too na content.”
Carter Efe, however, cautioned against making accusations about Jarvis’ pregnancy, urging the co-host to refrain from such discussions. “But leave that woman belle, o,” he advised.
The co-host quickly retracted the statement, affirming, “Okay, na true. Make we no dey talk, allegedly, allegedly. Thank God say I remember. Ah, allegedly. Thank God.”
As of this report, neither Peller nor Jarvis has publicly responded to Carter Efe’s assertions regarding the nature of their wedding ceremony.
