‘They sprayed me fake dollar on my wedding’ – Peller laments

Nigerian Content Creator Peller Raises Concerns Over Fake Currency During Wedding

Nigerian skit maker Peller has expressed his dismay after discovering that some of the dollar bills he received at his recent wedding to Jarvis were counterfeit.

In a video announcement, Peller noted that while he received genuine Nigerian currency from many attendees, several individuals allegedly presented him with fake dollar bills.

“I went to the bank, and the Nigerian money was genuine. I saw that a lot of people gave me Nigerian currency,” he explained, adding that he could identify those who contributed authentic cash. However, he claimed that some of the dollar bills were not real.

After the celebration, Peller recounted feeling affluent and even used the counterfeit bills in a video. “I got home, I was feeling like a millionaire, and then I realized it was fake,” he said.

He emphasized that he has refrained from discussing the fake dollars since the day after the wedding, questioning whether it is customary to spray money at such events.

Peller’s experience highlights ongoing concerns regarding counterfeit currency in Nigeria and underscores the importance of vigilance during financial transactions.
