Nigerian Singer Rollex Dee Reportedly Ill in Police Custody

Nigerian singer Rollex Dee, known for his association with Fuji artist Taye Currency, is reportedly suffering from a serious health condition while in police custody. According to a video shared online by his mother, the family received alarming news that he has been vomiting blood.

In the video, she appeals for assistance, stating, “Nigerians, please come to my rescue. I received a call two days ago that my son was ill and vomiting blood. Please don’t let them kill my son in police custody.”

This news comes several months after Rollex Dee was arrested by the Oyo State police command. He was taken into custody in April 2026 for allegedly defaming Taye Currency during an interview on the “Agbaletu” program.

The police confirmed his arrest through an announcement on their X platform, stating that officers tracked Rollex Dee to Lagos following a petition from Taye Currency.

Despite public outcry and calls for his release, Rollex Dee has remained in police custody since his arrest in April.
