Peter Afolayan Departures Enyimba Following Contract Expiration
Peter Afolayan has left Enyimba Football Club after his contract expired, according to reports from DAILY POST.
During his tenure with the club, Afolayan made 35 appearances for the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions. He played a significant role in the team’s efforts to avoid relegation during the 2025/26 season.
Afolayan joined Enyimba at the beginning of the last campaign after transferring from Heartland. Since leaving the two-time African champions, he has garnered interest from other clubs.
Enyimba is now tasked with filling the vacancy left by Afolayan as they prepare for the upcoming season.
