EPL: You’ve made bigger mess, shut up – Gerrard attacks Man Utd defender Martinez
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard criticized Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez for his recent comments regarding the club’s management.
Gerrard suggested that Martinez should focus on improving his own performance rather than speaking publicly about the team’s challenges. During an appearance on the latest episode of The Overlap, the former England midfielder remarked that Martinez’s remarks indicate discontent among senior players about the team’s situation.
Martinez expressed his frustration with Manchester United’s management for their failure to sign players that could strengthen the squad during the summer transfer window. His comments followed the team’s 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
