Champions League Draw: Four teams to make debut this season
Four teams will make their debut in the UEFA Champions League this season, marking a significant milestone for each club. Como, LASK, Viking, and Sabah have been confirmed among the 36 teams participating in the league phase following the completion of the qualifying rounds.
Como secured its place in the Champions League by finishing in the top four of Serie A and will represent Italy alongside established clubs Inter, Napoli, and Roma.
LASK achieved a remarkable turnaround, defeating Celtic 5-1 in the decisive playoff match, winning the tie 5-4 on aggregate.
Sabah also advanced after a thrilling match, overcoming Hapoel Beer-Sheva 5-2 in extra time to secure a 6-4 aggregate victory.
Viking will join fellow Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt in the competition, adding to the representation of Norway in this prestigious tournament.
