“BBNaija makes your life harder after the show” — Ex-Housemate, Kess

Former Big Brother Naija contestant Kess has expressed concerns about the challenges faced by participants after leaving the reality show. In a recent post on X, he reflected on the post-show experience, stating that the competition continues well beyond the confines of the program.
“Big Brother makes your life harder,” Kess wrote. “Winner or not, the moment you leave that house, you’re dealing with a version of life that is far more complicated than the one you left behind.”
He acknowledged that while former housemates often receive encouraging messages, they must still navigate a competitive landscape for attention and opportunities. “Everywhere, words of encouragement. Baba, press money join,” he added, suggesting that financial pressures persist alongside emotional support.
Kess also highlighted the increased competition among former housemates, noting that the show has produced 249 contestants over its 11 seasons. “Big Brother Naija has dished out 249 housemates in 11 seasons. Competition inside and outside the show,” he remarked.
