U-20 WWC: China’s Jiaxin expects tough duel against Falconets

China’s Huang Jiaxin is preparing for a challenging match against Nigeria’s Falconets in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The Chinese team began their tournament on a strong note, securing a 5-0 win over debutants New Caledonia on Monday, where Jiaxin notably scored three goals.

As China gears up for their next group match against Nigeria, who lost 2-0 to former champions Spain in their tournament opener, Jiaxin expressed her eagerness for the upcoming encounter.

“I am very excited to help the team win the match. It is an honor to be at the top of the goalscoring standings, and I am very happy to be the first player to score a hat-trick in this competition,” Jiaxin said, according to FIFA.com.

She acknowledged the difficulties that lie ahead, stating, “Of course, I would like to win the Golden Boot award. We now need to focus on our next match against Nigeria, which will be a tough game.”
