2026/2027 Champions League table after Match Day 1
Paris Saint-Germain has taken the lead in the Champions League standings following the first matchday of the tournament. The reigning champions delivered a decisive performance on Wednesday night, defeating Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at the Parc des Princes.
PSG currently occupies the top position, ahead of Bayern Munich on goal difference. The Bundesliga champions rebounded from a goalless first half to overpower Bodo/Glimt 5-0 on Thursday.
The top five teams in the standings also include Barcelona, Manchester United, and Como 1907. At the other end of the table, the bottom three positions are held by Sabah FC, Slovan Bratislava, and Bodo/Glimt.
Matchday 2 is scheduled for the week of October 13. Following the completion of eight matches, the top eight teams will advance to the knockout stage, while teams ranked ninth to 24th will enter the play-offs.
