Police arrest three over alleged murder of man in Adamawa village


The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three men in connection with the death of a 50-year-old man, Ibrahim Muhammad, in Kadarbu village, located in the Fufore Local Government Area.

The arrests were announced by police spokesperson SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje in a statement on Sunday. The incident took place around 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, after the Mai Unguwar Kadarbu reported that Muhammad had been attacked at his home.

The police launched an investigation and subsequently apprehended Ibrahim Ahmadu, 30; Buba Bala, 22; and Yahaya Bala, 20. The suspects reportedly confessed to participating in the assault and indicated that they acted alongside two other individuals who remain at large.

The case has been referred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Yola for further inquiry.
