NPFL: Rangers vs Nasarawa United rescheduled fixture to hold in Owerri

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a venue change for the rescheduled Matchday Three fixture between Rangers and Nasarawa United. The match, originally set to take place at Awka City Stadium in Anambra, will now be held at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
This change was necessitated by the unavailability of the Anambra venue, according to league reports. The match is still scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Rangers, the reigning NPFL champions, have designated Awka City Stadium as their home ground for league matches this season. Their original stadium, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, is currently under renovation in preparation for the 2026 National Sports Festival. However, Rangers will use Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for their CAF Champions League fixtures.
