Nigerian Army announces recruitment for technical specialists

The Nigerian Army has announced a special recruitment initiative targeting skilled men and women as part of the 92 Regular Recruits Intake. Online registration is set to take place from September 16 to October 21, 2026.
In a statement posted on X, the Army indicated that this recruitment effort aims to attract Nigerians with technical expertise required for specialized roles within military service.
The positions available include boat operators, marine mechanics, electrical and mechanical engineers, along with other technical apprentices.
Prospective applicants must meet specific requirements and complete their registration within the designated timeframe. Eligible candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth, aged between 18 and 35 years as of the application deadline on October 21, 2026.
The Army emphasized that recruitment into its ranks is free of charge and cautioned individuals against paying anyone who claims to facilitate the process.
Interested candidates are urged to submit their applications online before the October 21 deadline. This recruitment exercise forms part of the Army’s ongoing strategy to enhance its workforce with individuals possessing specialized technical skills.
