Turkey: Nwaiwu explains secret behind Trabzonspor’s victory over Galatasaray
Trabzonspor secured an impressive 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in their Turkish Super Lig match at Papara Park on Saturday night.
Forward Mohamed Salah led the scoring with a hat trick, while teammate Noah Saviolo also contributed a goal for the Black Sea Storm.
Chibuike Nwaiwu credited Trabzonspor head coach Thomas Reis for the team’s performance, stating that his tactical instructions were crucial to the win. Nwaiwu noted that despite entering halftime with a comfortable lead, the players remained focused and determined to extend their advantage.
“We went into the locker room at halftime,” Nwaiwu said in comments reported by Haber61. “Among the things we talked about, along with our teammates, were what our coach told us: that we needed to keep going, maintain the score, and that we could finish the match with even higher scores.”
The substantial win marks a significant achievement for Trabzonspor as they continue their campaign in the Turkish Super Lig.
