“Harry Kane’s goalscoring record has been phenomenal,” Lambert stated. “Would he be a worthy winner? Yes, he would. However, it is quite rare to win the Ballon d’Or without also securing a World Cup or a Champions League title.”
Lambert acknowledged that the competition is fierce for the prestigious award, particularly with players like Rodri, who have won both a World Cup and a Champions League. “That is the reality of it,” he said.
