NNL: Smart City FC appoint John Dosu as goalkeeper trainer
Smart City FC has appointed John Dosu as the team’s new goalkeeper trainer ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Dosu, who previously served as the goalkeeping coach for Shooting Stars, has signed a one-year contract with the Lagos-based club. His extensive experience includes coaching roles at Inter Lagos, Sporting Supreme, and Grassrunners FC.
The club hopes that Dosu’s expertise will bolster its technical department as Smart City aims for a successful campaign this season. The team is focused on improving its performance following last year’s challenges.
Additionally, it is notable that Smart City recently appointed Eddy Dombraye as the new head coach as part of its efforts to enhance its competitive standing in the league.
