Blessing CEO loses son while in prison
Nigerian relationship expert Blessing Okoro, commonly known as Blessing CEO, reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while incarcerated at Kirikiri Prison. The news of the loss emerged online earlier this week and was confirmed on Friday by Amira Agiye, CEO of Isaamira Love Foundation, who has begun a fundraising campaign on Okoro’s behalf.
Agiye shared the announcement during a public appeal, stating, “It is sad to announce that Blessing CEO just lost her second son. She deserves compassion and an opportunity for redemption during this difficult time.”
According to Agiye, Okoro requires approximately 20 million naira to fulfill bail conditions and an additional 36 million naira to address debts related to the legal proceedings against her.
In a voice message played by Agiye, Blessing CEO expressed her grief, saying, “My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan. I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life, and pay my respects to him.”
Okoro has been in jail for approximately two months, having been remanded due to a property fraud case involving 69.15 million naira. Although she was granted bail in July 2026 under specific conditions, she has been unable to meet the financial requirements, resulting in her continued detention. Each surety for her bail was required to provide proof of deposits valuing 20 million naira over three years.
