Lady alleges Reekado Banks’ management failed to honour promise

A Nigerian woman has accused the management team of singer Reekado Banks of failing to honor a promise of compensation made to her following a performance in which she joined him on stage.

In a video that has gained traction on social media, the woman recounted her experience, describing her enjoyment while dancing with Reekado Banks. As she prepared to leave the stage, she claims a member of the singer’s management approached her with an offer of compensation for her participation, despite her not having sought any payment.

The woman stated that after exchanging contact details, she sent a message to the manager introducing herself, but received no further communication. Days later, she alleged that another individual, identifying as a member of Banks’ team, contacted her to confirm whether she had received the promised compensation.

In an effort to clarify the situation, she reached out to the initial manager, who requested a screenshot of their prior conversation, which she provided. However, she claims that the manager subsequently ignored her messages. Despite multiple follow-ups, the woman reported receiving no response, leaving the matter unresolved.

Expressing her disappointment, she conveyed that had compensation not been offered, she would not have anticipated any payment. “It’s not even about the money. If they had not offered compensation, I wouldn’t have expected anything. But once a promise is made, it should be honored and properly communicated,” she said.

As of this report, Reekado Banks and his management team have not publicly addressed the allegations.
