El-Rufai paying for what he did – Buba Galadima
Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has commented on the recent detention of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, suggesting that El-Rufai is facing repercussions for his actions while in office.
In an interview with Symfoni TV, Galadima stated, “El-Rufai himself is paying for what he has done to other people.” He emphasized that, while he believes the former governor is experiencing the consequences of his previous actions, he questioned whether the reasons behind El-Rufai’s detention were politically motivated, asking, “Why did they arrest him?”
Galadima further criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), suggesting that the party’s desire to maintain power may lead to desperate measures. He expressed concern that APC members are aware of potential repercussions they could face if they lose their hold on power. “The desperation with which the APC is going, they can do anything under the sun to come back to power,” he said. “What they have done to people will visit them.”
